Floral Pysanky Egg by cybermathwitch-klm Floral Pysanky Egg by cybermathwitch-klm
A pysanky egg, created using a beeswax resist dying method, like the traditional Ukranian eggs created during Lent.

This is a traditional design.

Thank you! We (my mother, cousin, and I) have to be really careful when we start working on these to keep them well out of the pets' reach. We've found that keeping the egg cartons to use for storage works pretty well.

Hm. That might foil destructo-dog's evil plans. I do believe I'll try that. Thanks. :)

No problem. We've also found that the heavier weight plastic cups you get at places like starbucks and taco bell (those frutista things) are excellent when combined with some tissue paper for wrapping/giving an individual egg in.
